Assistant Professor of Viticulture and Extension Specialist
Drew got his B.S. in Viticulture and Plant Science from Cornell University, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Horticulture from Penn State University, where he studied with Dr. Michela Centinari.
He is curious about all aspects of grapevines, vineyard agroecosystems, and woody fruit crop/plant physiology, loves to garden, and has three cats.

Danny Menendez
Ph.D. Research Assistant
Danny got her B.S. in Plant Science with an Emphasis in Plant Health and Protection from the University of Florida, and her M.S. in environmental Studies from Florida International University.
She is interested in the impacts of abiotic and biotic stressors on fruit/wine chemistry. She enjoys hiking, playing riichi mahjong competitively, and attending multi-genre conventions with her friends.

Dominic Groman
M.S. Research Assistant
Dominic got his B.S. in Viticulture & Enology from Cornell University with minors in Soil Science and Microbiology.
His current research investigates whether leguminous under-vine cover crops and AMF inoculants can be integrated into vineyards to enhance grapevine nutrition and improve soil nutrient cycling.
